Who we are

This website, seasideland.eu, is operated by Seaside Land Construction (“Seaside Land Constructions”, “we”), ΑΦΜ 801698735, with offices at Naousa, Vounali, Cyclades 84401, Greece and 18 Gr. Lampraki str., Glyfada 16674, Attica, Greece. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at info@seasideland.eu or +30 22840 28916.

Which laws apply

We process personal data under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the General Data Protection Regulation, “GDPR”) and Greek Law 4624/2019, which implements the GDPR in Greece.

What we collect and why

Enquiry forms. When you send an enquiry through a form on this site we collect your name, email address, phone number if you give it, your message, the property reference you enquired about, the page you sent it from and the language you used. We use these to answer your enquiry and, if you ask us to, to arrange a viewing or send you further information. Legal basis: steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)). Enquiries are handled entirely on our own web server in the EU: the form sends them by email to our mailbox and keeps a copy in a log file on that server, which is not reachable from the internet. No third-party form service is involved. We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to answer you and, where a contract follows, for as long as the law requires us to keep it.

Email and phone. If you email or call us we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your request and, if you become a client, for the duration of our relationship and the statutory retention period afterwards.

Server logs. Our hosting provider, whose data centre is in Greece (EU), records IP addresses, browser type and pages visited in server logs for security and troubleshooting, for a short period. Legal basis: legitimate interest in keeping the site secure (Article 6(1)(f)).

Cookies and embedded maps. We set only a strictly necessary cookie to remember your cookie choices. Google Maps is embedded on the contact and project pages and loads only after you consent; when it loads, Google LLC receives your IP address and may set cookies under its own privacy policy. See our Cookie policy.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) to understand how the site is used. It loads only if you enable Analytics cookies; if you do not, no data reaches Google. IP addresses are shortened before storage, and we do not use the data for advertising or combine it with any other information about you. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time through Manage cookies in the footer.

How long we keep data

Enquiries that do not lead to a business relationship are deleted after 24 months. Client data is kept for the duration of the contract and for the retention periods required by Greek tax and civil law (generally five to twenty years, depending on the document).

Who receives data

Our staff and the professionals who work on your project (architects, engineers, lawyers, notaries) only as needed for your request; the service providers listed above; and public authorities when the law requires it. We do not sell personal data.

Transfers outside the EU

Google may process data in the United States. Transfers rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. Write to info@seasideland.eu. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (Αρχή Προστασίας Δεδομένων Προσωπικού Χαρακτήρα, www.dpa.gr, 1–3 Kifissias Ave., 115 23 Athens).
